A Human Resources (HR) is responsible for managing every aspect of the employment process, they also assist with payroll management, so employees receive their paychecks on time.

- Using effective process to review employee performance and determine salary increases and bonuses.
- To reduce staff turnover and maintain good employer/ employee relations.
- It must keep up to date with any laws that may affect the company and its employees.
- Developing policies that affect a working environment company-wide.
- Tying performance appraisal and compensation to competencies.
- Conduct disciplinary actions.
